A viral TikTok shows an enraged “Karen” commencing a problematic one-person movement from the pulpit of a Las Vegas-area Chipotle, pressing customers to discard their masks, saying disease-preventing items represent “modern-day segregation.”

The video, posted by Jordan McIntosh (@jordanlynnmcintosh), has been viewed more than 154,000 times. The video overlay hilariously says, “Tell me you’re a Karen without telling me you’re a Karen.”

The clip opens with the newly-dubbed “Chipotle Karen” reprimanding employees about wait times.
“Look at all these people waiting,” she charges. “Forty-five minutes they’ve all been waiting.”
Her words get a lazy round of applause from a customer, who was either really low-key upset or mocking her come-to-Jesus actions.

Chipotle Karen takes it up a notch.
“You know what? F—k your mask!” she yells while heading to the exit. “F—k all you people. I’m taking a stand. Thank you. Thank you. F—k all the masks. F—k ’em.”
Then she nonsensically pivots: “Take it off, baby. Take your mask off! F—k it. Yeah, watch me; I don’t care.”

“You know what?” she asks, knowing something wild is fixing to exit her mouth. “This is modern-day segregation.”
Then, Chipotle Karen marches up to two Black women: “I love all of you people. You know what? I love you. You’re a beautiful woman.” But she had nothing the Karen is serving.
“Oh, walk away? F—k you, b—tch!” she yells, throwing fine Chipotle-brand items at the woman. “F—k you. She just said, ‘go away.’ F—k that b—tch.”

Somehow the Black women showed incredible restraint.
One piece of the video, the clapping, was a point of contention, according to the videographer: “He was talked to after this. Huge mistake on his part. He waited for 20 min for food (not the 45 minutes the Karen claimed) and missed the fact that he amps her up by clapping.”
