They might think about looking into the reasons that people are leaving their churches — something that has been made quite easy by the existence of Reddit.

Recently, one Reddit user asked people to share why they stopped going to church.

And the answers are as varied as the user names. Some of the reasons are funny, such as the sudden denial of baked goods, while others are deadly serious, including at least one instance of child sexual abuse.

Most, however, simply lost their faith after recognizing that their church didn’t practice what they preached or stopped going as soon as their parents stopped forcing them to go.
