Austin Woman Blocks Parking Spot For Boyfriend, Dancing Erratically And Claiming Driver Hit Her With Their Car

If you live in a city with difficult parking, you’ve definitely encountered someone going out of their way to save a parking spot for someone who hasn’t pulled their car around yet. Everyone has different levels of tolerance for those kinds of shenanigans, but a woman in Austin was obnoxious enough about saving a spot for her boyfriend that the whole internet is agreeing she was in the wrong.

Radio host Dale Dudley shared video of the encounter his neighbor had with a young woman identified as Laurissa Bove in front of a Victoria’s Secret.

The neighbor was trying to pull into a parking spot but Bove wasn’t having it. It’s unclear who got there first, or how long the standoff had been going on when the recording began, but it appears as if they had all been present for at least a few minutes.

At the start of the footage, Bove is standing in front of the spot, bending over provocatively and seemingly taking photos or video of herself while doing so. A security guard tells her to move and she responds by accusing the driver of the waiting, immobile car of hitting her with the vehicle.

“No, I’m trying to get into a parking spot and you see what she’s doing,” the exasperated driver says from behind the camera.

“Ma’am, is this really necessary?” the guard asks Bove.

At that point, she starts dancing around in the spot and appears to dial the cops on her phone.

“I need police,” she whines. “This lady hit me with her car.”

“Nobody hit you with a car,” the driver replies. She then asks the guard to do something, but he says he isn’t allowed to physically remove her.

“Yeah, you old b—ch,” Bove taunts, dancing yet again.

She picks up her conversation with the police and admits that she doesn’t need EMS. “But I might have a bruise, we can see when y’all get here.”

At that point, her boyfriend actually pulls around in the lot and she takes a break to motion him over to park his car.

“Come on, babe! I got your parking spot!” she calls out, before having to explain to whoever’s on the phone that she wasn’t talking to them.

With Bove, another car, and a security guard in the way, the boyfriend is obviously not able to park in the spot, and to his credit, he seems to go right by them all.

Saving the spot for her man in the muscle car.UPDATE: WOMAN IN SAID VIDEO HAS CONTACTED MY WIFE WITH THESE WORDS “WILL YOU PLEASE TELL YOUR UGLY ASS HUSBAND TO TAKE DOWN THE VIDEO OF ME?”I’m really thinking this young lady has a future in sales or public relations. Even her boyfriend has posted it and is getting negative comments. So I’m guessing you can all imagine what will be happening next. PS: if Laurissa Bove would like to call into the radio show and talk to my ugly ass, we might have some fun and I possibly could be persuaded. Screen caps below in the comments.

After the video racked up a few thousand views on Dudley’s page, he says Bove found it and began harassing his wife—who was not involved in the incident—to get him to take it down.

Someone else shared a screencap of a message Bove sent them seemingly unprompted that read “Security can’t touch civilians your old asf and should know that idiot b—ch get some botox hag.”

Dudley says the dispute was eventually resolved when another parking spot opened up and his neighbor went to that one instead.

The police—assuming they were ever actually called at all—never showed up.
