Conservative Tells Ben Shapiro ‘Raise Taxes On The Poor’ To Make Things ‘Fair’

There’s a man named Jeremy Boreing who has pretty much made a career out being someone who works in entertainment who is also conservative. Gasp! He also produces the Ben Shapiro Show and made a recent appearance with Shapiro on The Daily Wire to discuss President Joe Biden’s speech to the nation.

The two bonded by harping over Biden’s tax policies, which admit to a huge truth: the ultra-rich have been making more money and paying fewer taxes year after year and that has to change.

Not according to Shapiro.

“I was screaming at the television when he’s talking about taxes,” said Shapiro. “Because what he is saying is so obviously asinine. When he says that rich people don’t pay their fair share in this country, that is just an abject disgusting lie. It is a lie. The top ten percent of income earners in this country pay all net taxes. Not some of the taxes, all of the net taxes – because net taxes are defined as what you pay into the government, minus what you get back from the government.”

Wanting to one up Shapiro, Boreing went hard on his even worse opinion.

“The people who don’t pay their fair share in this country are the poor,” Boreing announced to some laughter from the rest of the whiskey-swilling cigar-smoking group of men.

“We need to raise taxes on the poor. I’m not joking. I’m not joking. The poor in this country pay zero. The lower middle class in this country pay net zero. So we have a group of people who pay no taxes, a group of people who pay no net taxes, a group of people who pay all the net taxes, and his argument is that it’s category three who don’t pay their fair share. Fair share means your percentage of taxes. We’ve determined that there are some people who shouldn’t pay any percent of taxes. The only fair taxing system is one in which everyone pays.”

He loves this idea so much, he has tweeted it:

For some reason, I don’t think this would actually work out the way Boreing thinks. The rich would never agree to pay the same percentage of their taxes as the poor because many of them get away with not paying any taxes at all.
