Lil Nas X Continues Trolling Conservatives —And Now He’s Involved Chick-fil-A

Lil Nas X isn’t pulling any punches when it comes to promoting his new music video in the face of conservative outrage.

The rapper is trolling just about everyone who comes for him over his queer romp with the devil in “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)”, from obnoxious public figures who make up lies about him to the entirety of the Christian church for their historical attitudes to the LGBTQ community in the first place.

And as we’ve all learned over the past couple years, one of the best ways to troll conservatives is to invoke any sort of blasphemy surrounding their favorite fast food joint—Chick-fil-A.

The chicken restaurant may be striving to be seen as less homophobic, but the reputation that resulted for years of donating to anti-LGBTQ organizations still follows them, as a negative for folks who prefer inclusivity and as a positive for anyone who rails against the gays at any chance they get.

So Lil Nas had a cute idea, jokingly telling fans that “if you roll down your window at chic fil a [sic] playing call me by your name they give u a free sandwich and a lemonade.”

While that would be a rad promotion if Chick-fil-A really did want to rehabilitate their image and support the LGBTQ community rather than just try to straddle the line between both worlds so as to retain the most business possible, it is sadly not true.

But that isn’t stopping fans from playing along.

Lil Nas also pulled Chick-fil-A into the controversy over the limited edition Satan Shoes sold to promote his single, joking that there was a second pair being dropped “to even out the score.”

It only has to be said once if it has to be said at all, but conservatives just are not going to win in a Twitter war against Lil Nas. He’s the king.
