Donald Trump has been banned from most social media sites, including Facebook and his beloved Twitter, where he once tormented us all with random angry tweets that spread disinformation and possibly the chance of WW3.

Having him gone is an enormous relief, but not as big of a relief as having him out of office. I sometimes go hours now without seeing his name or thinking about him, and it’s great.

There is still a threat looming: Trump has promised to start his own social media platform, for like-minded individuals.
The Daily Mail reports that Trump’s 2020 campaign spokesman Jason Miller told Fox News that the new site should be up in a few months.
“I do think that we’re going to see President Trump returning to social media in probably about two or three months here with his own platform–and this is something that I think will be the hottest ticket in social media,” said Miller. He added that it would “completely redefine the game.”
In the meantime, Trump has launched a new website at www.45office.com, and the quality of its design makes me a little skeptical about how quickly this app will be up. For instance, the Home Page features a slideshow in which many of the pictures are cut off, leaving Trump headless:

The website seems like a vanity project dedicated to Trump’s ego, so business as usual. It claims to be created to preserve “the magnificent legacy” of Trump’s administration.
“Through civic engagement and public activism, the Office of Donald J. Trump will strive to inform, educate, and inspire Americans from all walks of life as we seek to build a truly great American Future,” it reads.
The first sentence under the “About” section boasts that Trump “launched the most extraordinary political movement in history, dethroning political dynasties, defeating the Washington Establishment, and becoming the first true outsider elected as President of the United States.”

The true purpose of the website is found under the “contact” page, where there’s an option to invited Melania or Donald to an event or to request a “greeting.”
The man has launched his very own Cameo! Here’s what they say about requests for greetings:
Please allow up to 6 weeks for processing of your request. Due to the volume of greeting requests President and Mrs. Trump receive, we will not provide status updates. Additionally, please do not re-submit your request. Duplicate requests will supersede original submissions and therefore result in a significant delay in processing.
As with everything he does, Trump’s website is about making money off gullible fans.
