Barstool Sports blogger and podcast host Kevin Clancy, who goes by KFC online, gave people a resounding case of the willies after tweeting out a poll asking people if they wash their hands after using the bathroom at home and calling the people who said “yes” liars. The number of his fans who voted “no” on this poll is not helping the situation.

“I know how to successfully pee and s–t without getting ANY of it on my hands,” said Clancy. “I know. Impressive.”

“Also my bathroom is private and doesn’t have strangers in it all day so handles & knobs aren’t dirty. Legit no reason. All you Yes’s are either dorks or liars.”

Unless this man has a completely hands-free method of cleaning his posterior after having a bowel movement, color us suspicious.

The poll itself has already gained over 46,000 responses, with over 42 percent saying that no, they don’t wash their hands after using the bathroom at home. And we wonder why we have a pandemic.

Clancy and the no-voters might be interested to learn that even if you have a penis that you wash thoroughly and regularly, fecal matter can get in your pants and underwear from the butt area and through movement can end up on the organ. So unless people with penises are also peeing hands-free now, there has definitely been poo on Clancy’s hands while he’s at home, preparing his food and touching everything.

Not only that, but when you flush, particles from the urine and feces in the toilet kind of explode outward from the bowl, so Clancy’s doorknobs might not be as clean as he thinks they are. The science is pretty clear on this —there are a thousand and one ways to get poop-related bacteria on your hands when using the toilet and taking the extra 30 seconds or so to wash them afterwards is worth avoiding spreading things like antibiotic-resistant E. coli, which you really, really don’t want.

Another thing people don’t want, judging by the comments to Clancy’s tweets, is to shake hands with the man or possibly anyone else ever again.
