Love was originally a VIP guest at the Student Action Summit in Tampa Bay, Florida. She spent the first part of Saturday posting about the event to social media.

But it wasn’t long before the criticisms from conservatives who didn’t think she should be at a conference aimed at high school and college students to start rolling in.
Love and some of her supporters tried to claim that the people harassing her about the conference online were a troll group of “liberal left wing Marxist” communists.
But in actuality, there appeared to have been enough outcry from actual conservative Christians about her presence that she received an email revoking her invitation.
Love slammed the decision, noting that speakers at the conference were crusading against “cancel culture” and in favor of freedom of speech and inclusion.
Her dismissal from the conference sparked a culture war within conservative Twitter, with some coming out very staunchly against porn stars considering themselves conservative at all.

Others defended Love’s right to stand on whatever part of the political spectrum she wants, and appear shocked that conservatives aren’t welcoming her with open arms.

Meanwhile, Love has capitalized on the controversy, creating a shirt that says “I Triggered Charlie Kirk,” referring to the founder of Turning Point USA.
