Former President Donald Trump is apparently still salty about being kicked off of various social media platforms after he repeatedly violated their rules and incited violence against the American people — it was announced Wednesday that he filed a class-action lawsuit against Facebook, Twitter, and Google’s YouTube.

The lawsuit alleges that Section 230 of the 1996 Communications Decency Act, which gives these companies the freedom to moderate posts on their sites, is unconstitutional. It also requests that the accounts of both Trump and additional plaintiffs be reinstated.
“We’re going to hold big tech very accountable,” Trump claimed.

However, experts say that anything coming from this lawsuit other than yet another loss for Trump is unlikely. Claims of censorship only apply when the government is involved, not because a privately owned company removes something that goes against the terms of service a user agreed to upon signing up—something conservatives critical of these social media platforms seem to have a difficult time grasping.
But if nothing else, the ludicrous lawsuit has provided Twitter entertainment fodder, as folks mock Trump and his supporters for everything it took to get to this point.
