Video Shows White Man Yelling Racist Slurs At Ramen Restaurant Employees

The past year has brought more attention to anti-Asian violence against the AAPI community in the United States, and a viral Instagram video shows that the bigoted, dangerous behavior hasn’t abated. The clip was posted by the Ramen Lab Eatery in Florida, The Daily Dot reported, and shows a racist white man yelling at staff as they try to clean up for the night.

The video shows an employee trying to politely get three white men to leave their outdoor section, which is being broken down for the night. The men were not customers at the ramen restaurant, they’d brought pizza on the premises and started eating it at the outdoor tables.

“I asked you nicely to leave,” says the employee. “That’s about it.”

“Take your f-cking China flu, and shove it up your ass,” says one of the men. “Asshole, you f-cking Taiwanese ch-nk, motherf-cker.”

“Well done, sir, thank you,” the employee responds, as another one appears to be calling the police. “Oh yeah, I’m over here. Whattaya gonna do?” the belligerent racist answers.

Another pizza eater called the employee a “communist” then a “woke sissy motherfucker.”

The restaurant shared the video on their Instagram feed, writing in the caption, “We have zero tolerance for violence. We are an honest hard working business. We stand against any type of racism, harassment, and discrimination. We pride ourselves on having a multicultural environment. Unfortunately, this situation was very heartbreaking and will not break our spirits.”

“We will not accept this type of behavior and attack on anyone and especially to our staff. We do not tolerate any kind of hate. However, this was after we politely ask 3 grown men to eat their pizza elsewhere while we try to close and put away our tables. If anyone knows or recognizes these men, please be careful and report them. We respect and love everyone; however, this is hard to grasp. We will not stand for it EVER, and we hope justice will be served to these individuals.”

It sounds like they were using the ramen restaurant’s patio tables to eat the pizza they had gotten from somewhere else and became angry and racist when told to leave.
