Lots of states Restaurant Demands Unvaccinated Clients Only

A California restaurant that is pointedly anti-mask, anti-science, and thus anti-safety throughout the entire outbreak is making waves once more.

Basilico’s Pasta Extremely Vino in Huntington Ocean shunned the mask mandate last year, even going where to refuse entry to would-be customers and masked up to keep their company safe.

So, they’ve put up a sign prompting “proof of being unvaccinated. ”

“We have nought tolerance for treasonous, anti-American stupidity, ” it actually even scans.

Proving you’re unvaccinated may sound like far too cumbersome of a method to actually implement, and Basilico’s owner, Tony Roman, appears to be know as much.  

Instead, the indicator seems to be yet another form of signaling to anti-science conspiracy theorists that Basilico’s is the site for them, and to warn finally the “ tiny little dictators of the lockdowns ” that he won’t abide by any additional safety precautions put into place since Delta variant rears the nation’s head.

It also seems to be a primary response to some restaurants and so bars in California so requiring proof of vaccination to work with entry. But where all those requirements are intended to keep patrons safe, Basilico’s sign should be blatantly meant for both observation and as a big ‘screw you’ to anyone who doesn’t paired down on selfishness under the guise of “freedom. ”

While they certainly acquire supporters among the unvaccinated and unmasked, plenty of other people voiced their frustration with posture like this that have kept typically pandemic going.

Several appalled commenters commented Basilico’s will be out of business in a few weeks with this kind of subpoena for their customers, but even with acting like COVID must have been a hoax and everyone should just tend to be their lives as everyday, they had no problem taking quite $58, 000 in forgivable government loans earmarked for businesses struggling during the pandemic.  

So THAT sort government interference is just right acceptable, but the kind the aims to stop vulnerable Vacationers from dying isn’t. Obtained it.
