Most couples in the throes of wedding planning focus on making their Big Day and related events elegant and tasteful. There are, of course, different definitions of elegance and different standards of good taste. For example, one “proud American couple” thought it tasteful to fire their wedding photographer via email for being a “libt*rd.”

The couple sent their photographer the rude note captured below, canceling less than 90 days before their impending nuptials. They repeatedly called him a”libt*rd,” while railing that his “morals and values are not up to [their] standard,” then informed him that they will “fight” not to have to pay him. These “proud Americans” acknowledged that their contract with him stipulates the opposite; they simply don’t intend to honor it.

The photographer, Tony Bendele, shared a screenshot of the email in a baffled Facebook post, in which he also noted that he’s “not even a Biden supporter.”
Bendele also posted the email on Reddit, where the responses ranged from bemusedly contemptuous to appropriately savage:
