In Tulsa, Oklahoma, it apparently happens “a lot” that disruptive emergency room patients will bully or challenge others waiting their turn to be seen. This, according to Grant Kinsey on TikTok, who recently posted multiple videos on the subject. The first of the two videos has garnered 43 million views, and has amassed 7.4 million likes on TikTok alone.

In the first video, above, a woman in a pink T-shirt loudly and aggressively accosts a stranger in the ER while both are waiting to be seen by doctors. The woman in the pink T-shirt has pulled her mask down to her chin as she puts her face into the other woman’s face and screams at her. It is unclear in the video whether the other woman is wearing a mask or not, although her silhouette suggests that she may be.
As the woman in pink is “about to beat her @$$,” as Grant tells it, a security guard suddenly rushes into frame and begins to scream at the aggressive woman in pink.
“Stay away from other people, do you hear me?” he screams into her face. “If you don’t want to stay in this f—king chair, get the f—k out. Do that again and I’ll kick you out myself!” He then moves away from the woman in pink, but continues to stare her down even as he retreats. The woman in pink sits silently and does not respond or get up again for the rest of the video.
In a second video, Grant follows up to narrate a little more backstory to the ‘ER Karen’ clip:
“All of the sudden, I’m sitting there on my phone, this woman just comes back—I think she went out to have a smoke, the woman in the pink—and she walks by the girl sitting down and then turns around. The girl didn’t say anything, because I think she was talking to the girl next to her, maybe? Not even talking to the girl in the pink. And then the girl in the pink just starts getting up in her face over nothing,” Grant explains. It was at this point that he turned on his camera phone. “Literally nothing,” he emphasizes. “Just yelling and screaming.”

Grant isn’t sure whether someone called the security guard, or whether he observed the fracas himself, but, as can be seen in the first video, he was quick to intervene. TikTokers were quick to praise his actions.

The real star of the show, however, is ultimately the man draped in hospital blankets who shuffles across the frame towards the end of the video. His white, blue-trimmed blanket bears a striking resemblance to the habit worn by Mother Theresa when she was alive, and TikTok was here for it.
