The video initially appeared on Diane Koko’s TikTok account last Friday, generating more than 2 million views in just four days. To give you an idea, she simply captioned it, “Amazing dog walks on water.”

ET Canada helped fill in some of the adorable details. The segment came from Global News Toronto, and the dog — appropriately named Storm — belongs to weatherman Anthony Farnell. In the clip shared on TikTok, Storm (who a commenter maintained comes to work with Farnell every Friday) wandered on to the set, at one point appearing to walk on water thanks to a well-timed photo of the Toronto skyline, with Lake Ontario in the foreground.

It was also a hit on a few different Twitter accounts, making the rounds there. It included a tweet in which the person sharing it, @rosevalentee, noted it was her “new favorite WFH problem.” Even though Farnell wasn’t working from home, it does illustrate what can happen when work and pets mix.

Then, Molly Jong-Fast noted, “I’m sorry but this is the best thing I’ve seen all week.”

In response to her, another tweeter provided some more welcome intel on Storm.

And in case you weren’t aware of Lola the Weather Beagle, she’s made the Chicago ABC affiliate weather reports better.
