A TikTok from an unhappy CVS customer showing the very questionable way in which she says her prescription was filled at the pharmacy has people sharing their own negative stories about the company.

Jessica (@jessica.lasirena) appeared to be filming through the window at a drive-up CVS pharmacy.

“This woman just came from running the window register, straight to fill my medicine,” she wrote. “This is the final straw CVS.”

In the video, a woman who is allegedly working at the pharmacy is dumping pills from a giant bottle into her hand — without wearing gloves — and seemingly adding them to the prescription Jessica is picking up. The suggestion is that she’s counting the pills out to fill the script, but at the same time, it doesn’t seem like she could possibly be counting handfuls at a time that quickly.

Viewers had plenty to say about the lack of protocols displayed in the video.

“She went from CASH HANDLING to handling medications,” @serenityydiehl wrote. “Doesn’t matter if it was pills or food she touched money 1st.”

“By law you are not supposed to touch them by hand even to count. They have a pill counter for that,” added @hannaaberlin.

“Coming from a former CVS Pharm tech here, there is no reason to touch pills while putting them into the pill counter,” @anita.henny said.

Another former pharmacy worker agreed that this was “not proper counting procedure,” and went so far as to call it “illegal.”

Other pharmacy techs said that they never wore gloves when handling pills, nor were they required to, but the general position was that the pills should have been counted by a machine regardless.

But some CVS customers weren’t surprised that protocol potentially wasn’t being followed, and shared anecdotes of their own bad experiences with the pharmacy.

“One time our CVS ‘lost’ my grandma’s pain meds,” wrote @gigdoodle. “120 Percocets just gone, we had to get police involved.”

“One time CVS just took it upon theirselves to change the brand of medicine I was taking and I had a horrible allergic reaction,” another user accused.

In a particularly egregious allegation, @amandafrias621 said that the company even mixed up her pills one time. “Half anxiety and half dementia pills,” she wrote. “Notices diff shape meds. I hate CVS.”

And Jessica herself appears to have already been frustrated with the company even before this mishap, noting on the video that “I came to pick this medication up but had a different one ready.”

“It has been one thing after the other,” she wrote.
