The unknown woman in the video is being hailed as a hero, with people everywhere impressed by both her bravery and the creativity of her brazen threat to big men with big guns.

According to commenters who speak the language, the woman asks the soldier why they came to her land and demands that he puts his weapon down. She then asks him to put the seeds in his pocket in order to give the invasion some kind of “meaning” and to make the soldiers “useful.”

Other commenters claimed to have found a video from the woman’s perspective. The footage does show someone walking up to a soldier and a woman’s voice speaking loudly to him in Ukrainian, seeming to chew him out before walking away again. One Twitter account that posted the video said that it first appeared on Facebook and that the Russian soldier fails to answer her question about why him and his fellow soldiers are there.

“Russian occupation forces entered the city of Genichesk,” the Twitter user wrote, translated from Ukrainian. “A video of communication with the Russian invader was posted on his Facebook page by a local resident. In the video, the Russian military does not answer the question of what is the purpose of his stay in the city.”

What Russian President Vladimir Putin described as a “special military operation” into Ukraine has now been called a “full-scale invasion,” with reports of Russian military entering the neighboring nation from multiple borders and attacking airports, reportedly seizing the airport in Kyiv, the nation’s capital. In response, Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky has severed all diplomatic ties with Russian and declared martial law as many thousands of civilians flee.

The U.S. and other nations allied under NATO have announced sanction packages against Russian for this aggression. The situation is developing rapidly as people all over the world watch in horror, fearing another World War is in the works. The courage of this one Ukrainian woman, however, is inspiring some people to hope and generally impressive even some impressive world figures.
