Podcast host Joe Rogan had some whiny opinions to share on the topic of actor Chris Pratt, who was a while ago deemed by the internet to be the “Worst Chris” out of a long list of actors with that name for multiple reasons. According to Rogan, anybody who doesn’t like Pratt is “insane” and “hate their jobs” and only really hate him because he’s Christian, conveniently ignoring the part about him belonging to a notoriously and openly homophobic church.

“He’s the nicest f—ing guy I’ve ever met in my life,” said Rogan before attacking anybody who’s criticized Pratt. “They’re all insane people that hate their jobs that are sitting in front of the cubicle when their boss isn’t looking they’re tweeting bad things about Chris Pratt.”

To be fair, almost everyone in the U.S. hates their jobs, especially if they involve cubicles, and you can tell Rogan has never worked in one because you don’t sit “in front of” them, you sit inside them. It’s unclear whether Joe Rogan ever had a real job in his life, first being known as a stand-up comedian before going from Fear Factor host to MMA yeller to a guy who frequently platforms white supremacists and not-so-subtly pushes their ideas.
For example, the idea that Christians are under attack in the U.S. in spite of enjoying an overwhelmingly dominant religion that is so ingrained in our government that Christmas and Christmas Eve are federal holidays.
“He’s kind of outside the lines in terms of his ideology, he’s a Christian, and pretty open about it,” Rogan said. “Because of that they attack him.”
Actually, the origins of the public turning on Chris Pratt came not because he was Christian, as everyone assumes that most American actors are, but because the church he belongs to is the Hillsong megachurch, attending the Zoe Church in LA, which is a branch of the larger Australia-based institution.
Hillsong is explicitly and undeniably homophobic, gaining itself headlines for firing their choir director for being gay and fully admitting that their homophobia was the reason.
“Hillsong Church welcomes ALL people but does not affirm all lifestyles,” wrote senior pastor Brian Houston. “Put clearly, we do not affirm a gay lifestyle and because of this we do not knowingly have actively gay people in positions of leadership, either paid or unpaid.”
The church has also pushed gay conversion therapy, which has been exposed as a torturous, highly traumatizing experience for LGBTQ+ youth that doesn’t work and shouldn’t be allowed to call itself “therapy.”
But if you ask Joe Rogan, it’s not queer kids forced into churches that hate them who are vulnerable, but the millionaire straight cisgender actor who has landed multiple parts in upcoming movies even after the whole controversy about him seeming to diss his disabled child and their mother.
“You see someone being vulnerable and you can snipe at them and you don’t have any repercussions and they’re not in front of you so you attack the guy,” said Rogan.

Rogan, for the record, frequently attacks people who are not in front of him into his podcast studio microphone with zero repercussions. But to Rogan, since Pratt has been nice to him personally, he must have never done anything wrong in his life and should therefore be immune to any criticism whatsoever while he enjoys lavish wealth and fame.
“He’s so nice. Chris Pratt is like one of the nicest people I’ve ever met in my life. He’s genuinely friendly. I’ve been in hunting camp with him. He’s nice to everybody.”
