It’s been a long, horrible year and every time it seems like things can’t get worse, they do. One of the most recent blows was the death of Alex Trebek, the Jeopardy! show host beloved by many. Trebek was loved because he was a consistent figure in so many of our lives on a nightly basis and because he was what you might call a Real One.

On the other hand, lots of horrible people stick around and continue ruining the lives of the American public. While we do not wish death on anyone, it does feel like the skills are tipping super far in one direction right now.
A Milwaukee news anchor named Ted Perry apparently expressed some feelings about all this that did not go over well with his followers, writing on his personal Facebook page, “2020 takes Alex Trebek but leaves Mitch McConnell? Just end already.”

The post has since been deleted, and the New York Post reports he’s been suspended. His sentiment seems rather mild to me, but his channel, WITI, is Fox owned and operated, so they were likely receptive to the McConnell stans out there.
Everybody else is wondering what the big deal is:

Justice for Ted Perry is being demanded, but as his own statement implies, there is no justice in this world.
