On Saturday morning, the presidential election was called in favor of Joe Biden and his vice president Kamala Harris. For more than half the voting population, this was an enormous win. For days, the world had been waiting to find out whether or long Donald Trump’s four-year nightmare presidency would get renewed and when it didn’t, joyful chaos erupted in the streets.

One of those streets was outside the White House. Anti-Trump and pro-Biden folk, plus the curious, gathered to wait for Trump to return home from yet another game on the golf course. That’s where he received the news that he wouldn’t be terrorizing the U.S. for much longer, at least not from an official government office. He still looks absolutely shocked by the reception he got in a viral photo captured by Alex Edelman.

It shows Trump through the window of his motorcade staring at the crowd, slack-jawed and crumbling:

There were also many shots of what Trump was looking at: lots of people flipping him the bird.

This pic is still really what’s capturing people’s attention:

There were more photos of Trump looking like a sad, tired, old man. They’re not quite as good, but still pretty great:

Looking forward to more photos of Trump looking sad. Perhaps photos of him being dragged out of the White House kicking and screaming like a toddler? It really feels like anything is possible today.
