Forget the War on Christmas, Turning Point USA founder and Trump ally Charlie Kirk has declared that “the left” has declared War on Thanksgiving because a lot of people think gathering together during a spiking pandemic is a bad idea. Not only does this sound more than a little desperate, people are noticing that Kirk looked a bit disheveled and worse for wear in his latest video podcast episode or whatever he’s doing.

After claiming Thanksgiving for the big G-O-D, Kirk claimed that the left thinks you should feel thankful for nothing because the United States of America is terrible.

“But they hate Thanksgiving because they believe that there is nothing you should be thankful for in America. This is an awful place, it is cancerous, rotten to the core, tear it all down, burn it from within. Why would you be thankful? Instead, we need a revolution.”
Kirk appears to be applying the opinions of the small number of actually leftist people in the U.S. who believe that revolutionary change is needed to everybody to the left of Ronald Reagan’s ghost, because he does that. He even brought up the “Students for a Democratic Society” organization that was created in 1959 and had splintered and pretty much broken up by 1970.

He made the argument that being thankful reduces conflict, and apparently everyone on the left wants conflict in spite of everyone who is anyone begging for some normalcy while Trump continues to refuse to end the 2020 election. He also apparently does not have the same Thanksgiving experience that many of us do.
“Thanksgiving is supposed to deescalate any sort of pre-existing issues in our country,” he said, “and now they’re using the virus as an excuse for you not to be thankful.”
To be honest, this doesn’t even make the top 10 list of wildest Charlie Kirk claims. However, Kirk is typically clean-shaven and hair-washed for his appearances to the public, including on his video segments, and the jokes about his new look are rolling in strong.
