The chicken nuggets appear to have come home to roost for the Trump administration after four years of insanity culminating in an attempted coup by Donald’s supporters. The many staffers who worked to make Trump’s awful wishes come true are now having significant difficulties lining up new work as they’re about to be kicked out of the White House.

According to Business Insider, one job recruiter working with these staffers said that they couldn’t get a single interview for any of his six clients.

“It’s just very hard,” the recruiter said. “You’re supposed to put anyone in front of a job that has the credentials. Morally, it’s hard for people to want to work with them.”
They also complained that the Trump staffers have “narcissistic attitudes” and have assumed that everybody would want to hire them. But instead of jobs, they’re getting a rude awakening.

Another expert in job placement, vice-chair of the public-affairs firm SKDK Hilary Rosen, told Business Insider that these staffers “have a scarlet letter” and that companies are worried that hiring someone from the Trump administration could spark anger and rebellion from their other employees.
“There is a perception that companies are most worried about their public reputation, and they are, but really they worry about their employees too,” said Rosen. “So it’s not worth it to companies to bring on people with a bad reputation to represent the company in any way if it’s going to create employee revolt.”

Meanwhile, Forbes chief content officer Randall Lane has openly warned that companies who hire any of the several press secretaries who have worked under Trump will be treated by the outlet with severe skepticism.
“Let it be known to the business world: Hire any of Trump’s fellow fabulists above, and Forbes will assume that everything your company or firm talks about is a lie,” he wrote in an op-ed. “Want to ensure the world’s biggest business media brand approaches you as a potential funnel of disinformation? Then hire away.”
Some of the bigger names from the Trump administration are reportedly in talks with certain news networks, such as former acting White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney. Those who are without name recognition, however, may be entirely out of luck.

“We’re not taking people who have no credibility,” said one unnamed executive from a major news network Very few of them have real value beyond Fox News, OAN, and Newsmax.”
