An Omaha chiropractor took to Twitter over the weekend to falsely claim that the Pfizer-developed COVID-19 vaccine causes harm, and was summarily roasted by people who are less skeptical about the vaccine.

Ben Tapper, from his @drbentapper1 Twitter account, asserted, “I have met many families that have lost a child to a vaccine injury. Injuries are real and not rare. The companies that lie and gaslight these poor families are the same companies and organizations that feed you and the public this corona propaganda.”

The chiropractor, who operates from Omaha’s The Wellness Pointe, also retweeted this tweet from Veritas News Feed, including video of a woman shaking, alleging in all caps, “THE PFIZER CONVID-1984 VaxX DAMAGES ANOTHER VICTIM,” before advising (with random capitalization), “Don’t Trust what these Drug Dealing Technocrats are pushing.”

According to Junkee, Tapper is a “vocal anti-vaxxer” who initially grabbed the video from the Facebook account of a Louisiana resident rant Griner, sharing the footage to his 13,000 Twitter followers to falsely “prove” that the Pfizer “shots cause harm.”
“This is from the Pfizer v-a-c-c-i-n-e. Please understand these shots cause harm. Injury is REAL and not rare,” Tapper captioned a now-deleted tweet, though the Veritas retweet contains the same video.

Another video Tapper shared from Griner, “for those that want context,” alleges that the woman’s condition is deteriorating.
A Monday story from the Daily Dot details a woman who posted a video of herself convulsing after claiming to have taken the Moderna vaccine, with a number of people suspecting she is faking the condition in order to spread anti-vaccine rhetoric. Tapper shared this to his Instagram account too.

A number of people responded skeptically to Tapper’s claims, including one who said, “I love it how all these grifters that claim there are all these vaccine injuries can’t define what a vaccine injury is or the criteria used to differentiate vaccine injuries from non-vaccine injuries.”

Another pointed out that Tapper appears to be anti-mask as well.

Many others just meme’d the chiropractor’s truther tweet, pairing his caption with videos of people dancing and jerking their bodies around.

He also seems skeptical about COVID-19’s reach and fatality, showing this meme displaying “Covid according to the media” as a Jurassic Park raptor and “Covid in real life” as Barney.

Tapper also recently invited fans to check out his Parler account, though, of course, the social media site known for hosting QAnon-friendly and other right-wing accounts is currently out of commission.
