Marjorie Taylor Greene has been the subject of scorn in recent weeks as more and more of her unhinged behaviors and beliefs get unearthed. But it’s obvious that she still — somehow — has the support of both major Republican leaders who are doing nothing to deal with her and constituents who whole-heartedly support her fringe beliefs.

In fact, Greene shared an image of a message of support she magically just happened upon in Washington, D.C., the other day.

“#StandwithMTG” written in the snow just seems like it’s crying out to trend on Twitter. It’s incredibly convenient that Greene chanced upon this message and shared it with her followers.

Or, you know, it’s fake.

Folks online are heavily leaning towards “staged” as the appropriate conclusion here. After all, the cardinal rule of anyone on Team Trump tends to be to make sure you accuse your “enemies” of whatever it is that you’re doing in secret, and Greene has sure spent a good amount of time throwing around accusations of major events being staged.

It wasn’t long before the ridicule began rolling in.

Several people even cited her own handwriting, noting the similarities in the capital “G.”

Unfortunately, there undoubtedly are people who well and truly “stand with” Greene, despite the fact that she uses her spare time to harass school shooting victims and non-Christians, all while expressing support for the literal executions of her peers.

The modern Republican party sure has come a long way!
