In a vicious battle for the title of World’s Worst Person, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell and QAnon congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene have both called each other a “cancer” on the Republican party.

McConnell seemed to start the fight, using the c-word in a statement that didn’t name Greene specifically but listed a couple of her wildest beliefs so everybody would know who he was talking about.

“Loony lies and conspiracy theories are cancer for the Republican Party and our country,” he said. “Somebody who’s suggested that perhaps no airplane hit the Pentagon on 9/11, that horrifying school shootings were pre-staged, and that the Clintons crashed JFK Jr.’s airplane is not living in reality.”
McConnell’s statement comes among calls for Greene’s expulsion from congress as more evidence emerges that she encouraged the assault on the Capitol last month and people keep posting that video of her harassing the Parkland school shooting survivor. Democrats are also working to strip Greene of any and all committee assignments in order to leave her with as little power as possible in the meantime.

Greene, following Donald Trump’s example, fought back on Twitter, calling McConnell and other Republicans who are sick of her the “real cancer” for the party.

Greene further tweeted that she refuses to be “canceled” and that democrats and “activist media” are attacking her because they “think Trump is gone.” The only part that isn’t funny is when she says Trump’s not gone.
She also made sure to tweet out and ad claiming that she needs $50,000 because “Democrats” are trying to kick her out of congress. It doesn’t seem like it’s just Democrats, though. Either way, she wants money.
The rest of us, meanwhile, are happy to sit back and watch these two fight to destroy each other.
