Donald Trump’s second impeachment trial begins today, and you would think that at this point QAnon would have faded away after their hero figure failed to unleash his super-secret plan.

Unfortunately, the conspiracy theory is still going strong for many, who have conveniently updated their theories to say that leaving on January 20 and getting impeached again is all part of Trump’s plan.

According to a VICE News report, the prevailing theory in the QAnon community is that Trump is allowing the second impeachment trial to happen so that he can impeach other former presidents when he comes back on March 4.

“Do not be shocked if they impeach Trump. It will have to set the path for other presidents to be impeached,” said one believer on a QAnon Telegram group.

“Laying the groundwork for Obummer, Bush, Clinton!” replied another. “Trump’s a genius!”

What exactly could be accomplished by impeaching former presidents Barack Obama or Bill Clinton—who both served two terms and under the Constitution cannot run for the office of president again—is unclear.

QAnon theorists have shifted their day of reckoning to March 4 after Trump failed to pull out his master plan on January 20 due to a fringe conspiracy theory that a law from 1871 turned the U.S. into a corporation and therefore any law passed after that is invalid. This includes the law that moved Inauguration Day from March 4 to January 20.

This particular theory comes from the “sovereign citizens” movement, which has a surprisingly high body count due to the fact that these people think they can just declare that U.S. law doesn’t apply to them. These folks have killed more cops than the insurrectionists did on January 6, according to the Southern Poverty Law Center.

Trump has done nothing at all to discourage these theories, even before he was banned from every relevant social media platform, but he is still working to profit from them.

According to Forbes, the Trump hotel in D.C. has jacked up its prices for the day of March 4 from an average of $476 to $596 per night to $1,331 per night—close to triple the original cost.

The same has not occurred in other comparable D.C. hotels.

If you enjoyed watching QAnon believers collapse into despair after the attempted coup and again on Inauguration Day, be sure to mark your calendars for March 4.
