The U.S. government’s approach to financial help during the pandemic hasn’t been ideal at any point in time. And a person on Reddit said they took matters into their own hands by making sure a homeless man he’s friendly with in his area was registered for the stimulus and had the payment sent to his address.

“Please made the effort,” u/mglikethecar wrote. “It took next to no work on my part to help someone get money they’re OWED and NEED. We demand our politicians give a s—t about people, but are rarely willing to do a little extra for someone in need.”
