Video of a teenager getting creeped on by a grown man at a poolside table where she was trying to do a livestream has spread on social media as people cringe at how uncomfortable he clearly made her before finally leaving her alone. Many have commented on how terrified the streamer looked as it became obvious that he was intending to hit on her, and he even comments that she appears “hesitant” but continues to try and chat her up before leaving when she says she’s live-streaming.

The streamer posted the videos of the interaction to TikTok with a follow-up stating that she is actually 18, but also acknowledging that “I look 14” and saying that the man appeared to be in his 30s.

At first, the young streamer thinks that the man just wants to take the extra chair at the table by the hotel pool, which she kindly gives him permission to do. Unfortunately, he instead sits down at her table.

“Oh, I didn’t mean you could sit there,” she says, eyes wide.

“I thought you said I could take this?” says the man. “What did you mean I could take it?”

“You could take the chair,” says the teen.

The man again asks if the chair is “taken” and the streamer hesitantly says no, and when asked if it’s okay if he sits there, says “I don’t know” in a way that makes it clear she is uncomfortable but afraid to directly say no, as many women and girls are to strange men who approach them. The man ignores this, asking her how she’s doing and for her name, which she gives as “Alissa” but says in the video captions that this was a fake name.

The man calls himself “Tad” and holds out his hand to shake, to which the streamer says “no thank you,” possibly because pandemic but also because creep.

“I see your hesitancy,” says Tad. “I just couldn’t help but notice you were the only one hanging out over here, and my intentions were to sort of come hang out over here by the pool, and I don’t see anyone else over here.”

The 18-year-old informs Tad that she’s doing a livestream, at which point he says he “won’t interrupt” (even though he already did) and gets up to leave. After he’s finally gone, she looks at the camera and puts her hands up to her mouth and chest.

A friend of hers then checks on her from the balcony above and you can hear “Tad” making excuses for his behavior. The friend calls the streamer his niece, possibly to try and deter Tad from creeping on her again.

The streamer made a pair of follow-up videos further explaining what happened and talking about how scared she was, telling the grown men out there that they should not be approaching women they don’t know like this —especially ones who look so young. Many other women have chimed in to express that they have been subjected to very similar situations by strange men and how terrified it made them.
