Man With Swastika Tattoo Punches Asian Man At “White Lives Matter” Rally

On Sunday, a number of white nationalists held a “White Lives Matter” rally on Huntington Beach Pier in California, and it was—unsurprisingly—the site of violence. The white supremacists were outnumbered by counter-protestors and Black Lives Matter organizers, thankfully, but there was also a whole lot of police there. The police did not stop violence from breaking out.

A video went viral on Reddit after being posted on r/PublicFreakouts by u/Buck_Your_Futthole under the title, “Man with swastika tattoo arrested at White Lives Matter rally for attacking an Asian man.”

In the video, the Asian man seems to be trying to have a conversation with a Nazi who it is revealed has a swastika tattoo. He might feel safe doing so because they are surrounded by counter-protestors and cameras as he asks, “Why you believe those beliefs?”

He is not. The Nazi shoves him and yells, “Get the f-ck out of my face, motherf-cker; I’m walking down the pier. Get the f-ck out of my f-cking way, you piece of sh-t.”

The other man continues to demand why the Nazi hates him so much, stepping in front of the Nazi again. The Asian man gets shoved once more for his troubles and then the Nazi hits him with a hard left hook, knocking off his glasses and hat.

The Asian man pops back pretty fast and keeps up his line of inquiry until the Nazi is arrested. The Asian man does not want him to be arrested, he wants the man to “talk” to him. Very brave, but probably not the guy anyone is going to make inroads with.

The man was identified on Twitter as someone who has been arrested for other hate crimes:

It seems unlikely that Nilsen could ever explain why he hates so much, which is why violence is such a big part of his life.
