Adrian Carrillo’s family was hanging out at his parents’ house in Melrose Park, Illinois when a white neighbor popped over the fence to start complaining about their music.

“My dad was next to the fence when [the neighbor started] saying to turn that off ‘you f—in’ Mexicans go back to your country,’” Carrillo told The Daily Dot. “That’s when we stepped in to defend him.”
The short clip itself shows the neighbor intruding upon their gathering and picking a fight with several family members before Carrillo simply walks right up to the fence and drops a massive piece of plywood in front of it, effectively blocking the neighbor from bothering them.
And hypothetically, their music he was so irritated by drowned out any additional squawking from his side of the fence.

In his original post on TikTok, Carrillo called the plywood a “border,” and told everyone to “never let racist neighbors stop u from hearing mexican music.”
The way he handled the situation went over well with viewers, with the topic commenter remarking that if “they wanted a wall where there u go.”

Of course, some people tried to claim the neighbor might just not like noise, but Carrillo told The Daily Dot his parents have had issues with this man in the past.
And of course there’s the little matter of him allegedly telling them to “go back to [their] country.”
This is the one time a “border wall” has actually seemed like a good idea.
