Twitter Pushes Back At Claim That Prince William Is World’s “Sexiest Bald Man”

People’s Sexiest Man Alive always generates a fair amount of arguments, no matter who takes the crown in a given year. Dealing with superlatives always does that, and that’s likely why such bold statements get made — after all, controversy creates clicks.

But now there’s a new title that has people around the world scratching their, well, heads — World’s Sexiest Bald Man. And the winner, according to the research, is Prince William.

To each their own, but the idea that the future King of England is the sexiest bald guy on the planet isn’t exactly resonating with…anyone.

And people offered up plenty of other suggestions for men who could easily take the title.

Truthfully the “study” is a strange one, supposedly based on how many times bald celebrities were called “sexy” in blog posts that show up in Google results.

It’s not immediately clear what the exact parameters are — if posts just had to be tagged with the term “sexy” and someone’s name, or if “sexy” very specifically had to be a descriptor of the person in question, and if there was any sort of quality filter to weed out posts that were tailored just to hit keywords that would make them pop up higher in the search results.

But we do know that this probably would have gone ignored if it hadn’t been picked up by The Sun, a UK-based tabloid that’s posted a number of articles painting Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in a bad light following their Oprah interview.

Though one Twitter user theorized quite compellingly that the whole thing was actually just a marketing ploy to get people to make fun of Prince William and his baldness to buy hair plugs from the cosmetics company that did the “study” in the first place.
