Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene seems to be doing just about as well as the rest of us during this pandemic, judging by a recent video she posted on the Trump-linked social media alternative GETTR calling President Joe Biden a “piece of s–t.” This was in the middle of a rant about Afghanistan than was for some reason in the middle of a gym video because if Greene calms down for even a second, she might have to think.

“Thousands of Americans are stuck over there in Afghanistan, and you’re letting the Taliban kick your ass, while you’re lecturing governors about masks and vaccines,” she said. “Do your job, bring these Americans home.”

Popular Twitter account PatriotTakes posted a clip of the highlight of her rant: “Joe Biden, you’re not a president, you’re a piece of s–t.”
In another situation, we can practically hear Republicans complaining that Joe Biden is focusing too much on a foreign nation rather than working to protect people here at home from a deadly virus. Greene’s focus on only the U.S. nationals stuck in Afghanistan also speaks volumes after she voted against a bill that would have increased the number of visas given out to Afghan citizens who worked tirelessly to help U.S. efforts in the country and are now being left to the mercy of the Taliban.
The Biden administration is, of course, working to at least get all the Americans home. U.S. forces have regained control of the Kabul airport and are in the process of evacuating them ahead of the September deadline, which the Taliban has promised to honor.
Many have also found the accusation that Biden isn’t doing his job to be fairly rich coming from a woman who seems more interested in making CrossFit videos, pausing occasionally to cuss out her opponents, rather than doing her job. Her state of Georgia is one of those in the inflamed red part of the country currently experiencing extremely high rates of COVID-19 infection. They are currently in second place for the percentage of hospital admissions being for COVID patients and their ICU beds are at 89 percent capacity.

Greene was also recently heckled by protesters when she made a stop at the Iowa State Fair for fun times and photo ops, following her around with whistles and a big sign pointing out that she, like Biden, has a job to do.
“We need health care, not photo ops at the fair.”
