It’s finally here, everybody. The day you’ve been waiting for. The day on which, according to chronically pantsless pillow peddler Mike Lindell, Donald Trump would be reinstated as president or revealed to have still been president all along or something, it’s hard to follow.

Unfortunately, and predictably, Lindell had already backed off from the date of August 13, saying that because it took longer than expected to set up that disaster that he called a “cyber symposium,” that date would be pushed back to late August or early September. Regardless, many people remembered the August 13 date and celebrated with the hashtag #ReinstatementDay and a beautiful harvest of memes.

The symposium itself was a disastrous failure, with Lindell’s own team presenting information that contradicted the pillow guy’s claims about election fraud. It was so bad that he had to try and distract everyone with an unsupported claim that he was attacked by “antifa” outside of his hotel. No security footage or witnesses have been presented to support this.
Meanwhile, a judge ruled that Dominion Voting Systems could move ahead with their defamation lawsuit against him.
