Another video showing an alleged and rather suspicious side effect from a COVID-19 vaccine is going viral, but certainly not because people think it’s real. Multiple videos of people supposedly experiencing seizures or other strange neurological symptoms after getting the shot have been flooded with commenters mocking them, expressing their disbelief, and posting their own parody videos of themselves shaking and spasming while laughing in the background.

This latest video that was meant to be taken seriously comes from a Twitter account named after a Bible passage from the book of Revelations that talks about the “mark of the beast” and people getting their heads chopped off for being Christian. It doesn’t claim that the woman filmed in a hospital bed was having a seizure, but she appears to lift her leg a little off the bed before it starts shaking vigorously.

“This woman was coerced by her employer to receive the Pfizer on Saturday,” the tweet claims. “This was her on Sunday.”
“Money ain’t worth it, people.”
While people getting severe and unusual side effects from vaccines is not unheard of, actual data from hospitals shows that it’s exceedingly rare in the case of the COVID-19 vaccine. This, as well as the fact that these videos always come out of far-right, COVID-denying sources, has led to COVID realists everywhere to widely accuse these people of faking their “symptoms.” Some who have claimed to have filmed themselves having seizures have been shouted down by people who experience real seizures, saying that what’s in the video looks nothing like the real results of this neurological event.
When it comes to this particular video, when all you can see is a leg shaking in a bed, many of the jokes revolve around a theme that is not exactly safe for work.

Many others have turned the situation into something of an online dance party, dubbing audio over the clip in order to make it seem like the leg is simply gripped by the music, to hilarious results.
Then, of course, there are the obligatory fart jokes.

Others posted different videos of people dancing, spasming, or simply engaging in behavior many consider strange, joking that the video subject suffered the same fate as the shaky leg woman or reproducing the original tweet text.
Still others created their own videos of their legs and other body parts shaking just like the woman in the video, showing that this kind of spasm absolutely can be faked. Others are quite a bit different from the video, and the ones with hands are definitely not safe for work.
