A TikToker who tried to make a woman out to be crazy for clout — and who briefly succeeded — is looking pretty foolish after the whole story came out.

Matt Heller (@mattfromhornblasters.com) shared a video he took of a confrontation he had with another driver who rear-ended him.
The video takes place after Heller has already pulled into a nearby gas station following the accident. He pulled out his phone to record as the other driver started walking towards him.

“…you hit my car,” she tells him. “You did that to the front of my f—king car.”
“Oh yeah?” Heller asks, laughing. “What’s funny? That’s my new f—king car,” she says.
“Usually when you rear-end people, that’s not how this works,” he replies, still laughing. “I’m going to call the cops real quick.”
The woman asks him to remember that he actually hit the front of her car while she was at a red light — something that admittedly sounds unlikely. And he plays it off as such, saying nothing more than, “Oh yeah? Okay. That’s cool.”
Heller’s video cuts to the other driver going off about while people and privilege before cutting again to the gas station attendant showing him the security camera footage, which clearly shows the other driver turning the corner and slamming into the back of Heller’s car.
The video went viral, and the internet was on Heller’s side, with online publications writing up the story with the exact takeaway that he appeared to want people to get from it — that he had done nothing wrong and this girl was out of her mind.
But eventually people realized that the other driver, @maddygilsoul1, had posted two videos of her own, and they told a slightly different story.
While it’s irrefutable that Maddy rear-ended Heller, he failed to show what the security camera had captured mere seconds earlier.
“Matt Heller went into oncoming traffic at a red light because I didn’t turn left on yellow,” reads an automated voice on her TikTok.

Sure enough, the video shows him cutting in front of Maddy as she comes to a halt at the light, definitely close enough to have hit her car, and almost hitting a cyclist in the crosswalk in the process. At that point, Maddy followed his turn and, after his car stopped abruptly behind another car, she rear-ended him.
Most of the comments on Heller’s video are of people falling for his edited version of events, but now that the full story is coming out, those who have seen Maddy’s video are livid with how he twisted things.
“You manipulated the truth to make her look crazy by not showing us that you hit her first,” wrote @shortestblockbusters.
“You fooled us all I hope she gets justice,” added @edenthedoll.
“Going back and listening to his NERVOUS laugh & the gaslighting,” @tortoisequeen6 commented on Maddy’s video. “He knew exactly what he was saying so it would look good for him. Good job on getting the beginning of the video!”

Maddy said in one of her posts that she now plans to sue Heller for slander.
