Singer and model Yumi Nu took the chance to participate in the widespread clowning of far-right pundit and anti-feminist Jordan Peterson, who gave an unsolicited opinion on her body and declare differing opinions to be the result of “authoritarian tolerance.”

The pundit got slammed so hard by people making fun of him for thinking anyone should care about what he thinks about a Sports Illustrated cover model who wouldn’t give him the time of day was so intense, he threatened to quit Twitter.

Unfortunately, as of two hours ago, he was still posting about his lecture tour, and has continued to advertise his YouTube channel and some ugly playing cards on his account, though maybe that’s the doing of his “staff.”
Nu, on the other hand, seems to be rather enjoying the fallout from Peterson’s gross tweet as many thousands of people have vocally defended her, posting a TikTok video of herself lip-syncing to Nicki Minaj’s “Itty Bitty Piggy” over a screenshot of his statement. The song wonders “why you girls bother at this point.”
“Give it up. It’s me. I win. You lose,” says Minaj as Nu holds up the Sports Illustrated magazine.
Nu was ecstatic to learn that she had been chosen as the cover model for the year’s swimsuit issue, representing a win for both the Asian American community as well as for plus-size models. People from both of these groups tend to experience intense scrutiny over their bodies as they fail to live up to thin, white beauty ideals in the minds of people like Jordan Peterson.
“It’s a big time for Asian American people in media. I know I play a big role in representation in body diversity and race diversity, and I love to be a role model and representative of the plus-size Asian community,” she told the New York Post.

This TikTok video is like a final blow after Nu already ratio’d Peterson with a simple quote retweet of his “not beautiful” tweet, taking him down with two simple words and emojis.
While Peterson might not have entirely stopped tweeting, he does seem to be doing so much less than usual, which is a win for Nu and everyone else on the planet, and that’s after the astronomical win of landing the swimsuit cover. TikTok commenters are now thanking her for her service.
“Single handedly got Jordan Peterson off Twitter. & looked AMAZING while doing it,” wrote one user.
“You got Peterson off Twitter AND you’re that hot?” said another. “Literally a deity.”
