TikTok user Megan Devon has been dealing with some intense and very racist family drama after she started dating her Black boyfriend Trey. The couple posted a series of videos showing Devon’s white family’s gross reactions to her being with a Black man, including one in which her mother is seen trying to break into the house that their daughter owns.

Devon posted the video on TikTok begging for help and is now soliciting donations to ensure that she and Trey can escape this abusive situation. Though the video ends with Devon saying she’s going to call 911, she says that the “Racist Police won’t do anything.”

The video starts with Trey locking the door and holding the nearby window closed as Devon’s mother tries to force it open. She can be heard saying to Trey “I will f—ing smash your face in.” They try to inform her that she’s being evicted and that they’re calling the police but she continues to yell through the window.

In the next TikTok video, Devon explains that she has obtained an anti-harassment order against her mother but that police have refused to enforce it. The courts had also denied her request for a more stringent protection order four times.
“If I can’t get my next step, then my next step is to sue the police department in our area for not upholding the law and protecting us,” she says.

She also notes that her sister, the woman with Devon’s mother, broke their window during the altercation in the previous video but the police “didn’t care.” The couple has spent thousands of dollars on hotel rooms to escape this racist family but are now broke and desperate.
The issue definitely is one of race, proven by Devon in multiple videos showing messages from family members and a now ex-friend seeming to accuse Trey of some kind of financial shenanigans and calling “the black family unit” “strategically broken.” It seems like it’s the Devon family unit which is broken, however.

Devon’s latest video quickly outlines how her mother has always been controlling and clearly feels threatened by her current partner, who treats her like a human being. She is still asking for donations to help the two of them escape their abusers.
