It can be really frustrating to engage with a person who seems absolutely ignorant about very basic information. Whether they are clueless about biology, important world events, or acceptable behavior, it can feel bizarre to have to explain simple things to a person who should ideally know better. Women in particular have to bear the brunt of explaining how their bodies function because sex-ed in America is pretty abysmal.
