Anti-racist activist, comedian, artist, and influencer Josh Black was returning home to his apartment complex, complete in his pink “Everybody vs. Racism” shirt, when he experienced what so, so many Black men have been forced to endure in the U.S. seemingly no matter how many Karen videos surface. According to Josh Black, a woman approached him after he parked to accuse him of following her and then tried to call security on him, claiming he fit the description of someone who had been breaking into cars at their apartment where he has lived for five years.

“White woman walked up to my car demanding to know why I was in the parking garage of MY apartment?” he wrote while posting the video of the confrontation to Twitter. “Wow.”

Near the end of the video, the unnamed woman claims that she is not white but “Mexican,” however Black can probably be forgiven for assuming her race and/or not being able to detect her individual ethnicity while she basically called the cops on him. She begins as the camera rolls by bringing up that there have been vehicle break-ins at the complex — a common problem not typically perpetrated by residents who use the same parking garage.
“They broke into my car,” says Black. “Of course. They broke into my car five times.”
As it turns out, Black men can also be the victims of crimes because they are human beings.
“Hi, I live here, I’ve been living here for about five years, and then Karen walked up to me just now, and she was pestering me about what I’m doing following her? She came all the way to my car.”
He then asks her if she’s called security yet, showing her on her phone, and when she says she couldn’t reach anybody, offers to help. The woman then refuses to answer questions about how long she and the man with her have been living at the apartment complex in spite of just coming up and interrogating Black like he hadn’t been living there for years.
As they continue to argue, the woman approaches Black to make the dubious claim that “the description” of the person who broke into her car “was exactly what you’re wearing.” Somehow, Black didn’t appear to take this seriously.

“That’s crazy!” he says into the camera. “They had on a pink hoodie when they were breaking in?” he asks her. “They had on a pink hoodie, black nails, and a backpack.”
Typically, people committing crimes like car break-ins try not to wear clothing that stands out and is easy to describe by witnesses, such as something like a bright pink hoodie with a clear anti-racist statement. Black’s full outfit can be seen in his previous videos and include some rather colorful and unusual pants and boots that someone would also not wear to a crime.
At this point, the white guy tries to reign the woman in, mumbling that Black is “content creating” and that her continuing to engage will only get him more “likes.” Black does not take this well.
“I mean, she did this,” he says. “I’m a f—ing influencer. If I wanted to, you’d be finished. Weird f—.”
Another Karen is added to the list, and though it does not seem like she has been identified yet, she has been thoroughly roasted in the comments.
