Newsmax’s Greg Kelly Won’t Stop Tweeting About His Pants

Working for Newsmax should be embarrassing enough on its own, but Greg Kelly has always liked to take things a step further.

The propaganda-pushing anchor shared a recent photo of himself “chillin’ with 45,” wearing what he referred to as “BUGLE BOY jeans.”

There’s a lot to be said about how ridiculous both men in this photo look (and we’ll get to some of that shortly), but it must first be said that despite Kelly’s weird decision to draw attention to his pants, they aren’t from the popular ‘80s brand that declared bankruptcy 20 years ago at all.

After being called out on that fact, Kelly doubled down on drawing attention to his cargo pants by making a second tweet about his pants, even zooming in on the photo of them for some reason.

“Everyone busting my CRACKERS over the ‘pants’… The truth is, they’re BALMAIN (the most prestigious brand in PANTS)—my shoes are by Ferragamo,” he wrote. “Basically, I’m a Sharp Dressed Man.”

What’s going on here, Greg? Is Trump ghostwriting your tweets for you since he can’t get on Twitter himself? Are you being held hostage? Is the combination of BUGLE BOYS, CRACKERS, BALMAIN, and PANTS in all caps your phrase to signal someone something’s wrong?

More than likely, the only thing wrong here is Kelly’s fashion sense. Look, the pants aren’t bad, but just because something is good in theory doesn’t mean it belongs on every body, and just because two things are expensive doesn’t mean you should pair them with each other.

And those comments are among the nicer things people said.

At this point, it seems reasonable to wonder whether Kelly gets off on humiliation, as he seems to have such a penchant for it.

To make matters even more ridiculous, a lot of folks are commenting that there are discrepancies between Balmain pants and the ones Kelly is wearing, suggesting that he may have not only tweeted about his pants incorrectly a second time, but bought some knock off brand and bragged about them being expensive.

It’s one thing to lie to the American people about election fraud and drug trips that definitely never happened, but to lie to the American people about pants? Where do we draw the line, Greg?
